Wheelchair access

I'm affraid wheelchair access in Sitges is pretty grim. Even if you can get into the place, the loos in most places are inaccessible. It could explain why you almost never see anyone in a wheelchair in Sitges. Sorry to put a damper on things, but this town was not designed with immobility in mind, nor has adapted for it. Please remember though, Sitges was a fishing village and the layout has not changed in hundreds of years, which is the very thing that makes it so attractive to tourists. Its not a matter of disrespect, but a matter of physical parameters. There simply isn't space in the tiny streets, bars, restaurants etc to expand them to allow for wheelchair access without knocking down the whole town and starting from scratch. If you have experience of using a wheelchair in Sitges, please let me know how you found Sitges.
